Unfortunately two female friends of mine have both separately been in upsetting incidents with taxi drivers- one with a driver’s inappropriate comments forcing her to get out of the taxi late at night on a main road rather than continue the journey, and another friend who was asked to “pay a driver in kind” in broad daylight. I know me and my friends are not the only ones to feel intimdated getting into a taxi alone late at night- my brother often has to be the last to be dropped off or walk part of the way home as his female friends are too scared to go in a taxi late at night alone. This service is fantastic and i will be passing on the message!
